i just signed up for an account over at stage6.com, a site much like youtube but that allows you keep your videos in very high quality and also lets you download the files. you can take a look at my profile on site at: http://www.stage6.com/user/sheeshmusic/ or just directly to the better quality “this is” video by clicking here.

so far the only video i’ve put up is the video of “this is” that’s on youtube, but it’s much better quality here if you wanna watch it again or download it for future viewing. i got an hd camcorder not too long ago and i’m getting some other better equipment soon, so within a week or so i’ll start posting truly HD videos up on this stage6 profile, so keep checking back here for updates on new videos.

i got doug diamond over at diamond disc audio to remaster the song “This Is” (off “The Calm Before The Storm (EP)”) so that I could give you guys a little bonus material to download from the site. i’ve been told by alot of people that this is their favorite song from my repertoire thus far, so for those of you that agree or that at least like the song, you can grab the mp3 of the remastered version of the song from the media section of the site or by using this link (right click, save target as… to download it).

i just added an “images” page to the site (which you can get at through the links at the top of the page) where i’m going to start posting whatever pictures from shows and other random events. i started off with a post of some pictures from a show i played at the Webster Theater on January 4th; somehow i ended up on the mainstage as one of the opening acts for an alice cooper tribute band (i say somehow because my genre doesn’t quite match the openers). some of the pictures are pretty funny because the tribute band had decorated the stage with some bizarre puppets and other weird shit, so you can see me playing my out-of-place unplugged music behind some of the stuff they had on stage.

even though it’s been around for a while, i just added a download link to “the calm before the storm (ep)” in the media section of the site. you can also download the file right here from this post:

the file is a .zip file, which you’ll need some sort of unzipping program (winzip, winrar, etc..) to extract the files with. All the songs were ripped in 224 kbps vbr mp3s to those of you which that matters to (basically, they’re much better quality that the stuff on my purevolume page). enjoy! and be sure to spread the link if you like what you hear.

i recently agreed to a promo agreement with a company called “platform one entertainment”. these guys have worked with some amazingly successful artists and now they’re working with me which well, makes me fucking STOKED. take a look at this page and look at some of the other artists they’ve worked with and hopefully you’ll be excited as i am for things to come.
