even though it’s been around for a while, i just added a download link to “the calm before the storm (ep)” in the media section of the site. you can also download the file right here from this post:

the file is a .zip file, which you’ll need some sort of unzipping program (winzip, winrar, etc..) to extract the files with. All the songs were ripped in 224 kbps vbr mp3s to those of you which that matters to (basically, they’re much better quality that the stuff on my purevolume page). enjoy! and be sure to spread the link if you like what you hear.

hey everyone,

i just wanted to give you guys a quick update on what’s going on in the world of my music. due to some personal issues that i had to deal with i had to push back some of my studio time for this new LP, so there’s gonna be a delay in when it’ll be finished; i’m shooting for late february at this point but that could end up being too late, or maybe even too early. once i have a better idea of when i’ll be done i’ll start getting more specific about dates.

this also explains why i haven’t been adding new songs and videos like i promised i would…i’m getting on that as soon as I can so you guys can start having some fresh content to enjoy.

just a heads-up as to why i haven’t been posting to this blog as much as I should be, but what I have been doing is writing my ass off. i’ve written a ton of songs for this upcoming LP that I plan on putting out sometime in the first few months of next year. i’ve already started making some trips to the studio, and progress is coming along nicely so look out for some new material from me coming really soon!

and keep checking back for more videos and downloads as I plan on updating the media section of the site in the coming days.

thanks to my boy e.law for shooting this video of me and veggies playing a little “late night” cover of blink-182’s “damnit”…enjoy.

alot of people seemed to be digging the cover of lil’ wayne’s “seat down low” that i threw up on my purevolume page so in response to that i decided to make a little video of me playing the song live…from my basement.

pardon the sideways camera angles, apparently my “camera man” didnt realize that my camcorder doesn’t auto-flip the screen if you turn the camera. but either way, check out the video and let me know what you think…i think rap covers are a hell of alot of fun, so if you guys leave some good comments or i get some quality e-mails about it (sheeshmusic@gmail.com), or even some requests, i’ll have another video up here a.s.a.p. but yeah…check it out now!
